Do we need to bring our own helmet or vest?
No. We provide the required helmet and protective vest for every rider. Personal safety gear is not necessary.
Does my child need to be a DTBAC member to enter?
No! Membership is not required to participate. When entering, simply select the Nonmember payment option.
What does my child need to bring?
Just come dressed and ready to ride! Riders should wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and closed-toed boots or shoes. DTBAC provides all required safety gear, including helmets and protective vests.
Does my child need any riding or Mutton Bustin’ experience?
Not at all! Riders of all experience levels are welcome, including first-timers. Our team will help get your child geared up and seated safely on the sheep in the chute before their ride.
What ages can participate?/Is there a weight limit?
Our Mutton Bustin’ is divided into two age groups: 3–4 years old and 5–7 years old. Riders must weigh under 65 pounds to participate.
