The 2023 NFR Experience featured Adalie, Adair, and Aniya, all hand chosen from Title 1 schools within the Las Vegas area. This year, we introduced a special styling session for Aniya, with western fashion influencer, Marijka Hunsaker. She was also treated to a custom necklace and a custom pair of earrings from Usher Brands making for a fun and personalized experience before her big night at the Thomas & Mack!

Adalie and Adair had the opportunity to shop at Cowboy Christmas, where they picked out new boots with help from PRCA Rodeo Clown JJ Harrison and Cavender’s! The kids also shopped at Cowboy Fresh and Broncs and Donks, met Dale Brisby from Rodeo Time, and watched the Junior World Finals. Afterward, they enjoyed seats at the Thomas & Mack Center, watching the National Finals Rodeo performance.

It was a memorable experience filled with Western culture and unforgettable moments!

The inaugural Rodeo Experience took place in 2017, where we had the privilege of taking our first recipient to Boot Barn to shop for Western gear. The experience continued with JJ Harrison, who provided behind-the-scenes access at the Reno Rodeo, allowing the recipient to see the inner workings of the event and interact with rodeo professionals. After the tour, the recipient enjoyed the thrilling action of the rodeo performance, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
