We are so proud to bring an annual Mutton Bustin' event to the Northern Nevada area!

What are the details?

  • All participants entered in the practice will have the opportunity to ride two sheep.
  • If the participant is also entered in the jackpot, they will receive points for each of their rides. The best score of the two rides will be entered into the jackpot pool. If the student does not wish to ride their second sheep, we will use their first score. We will be awarding prizes for 1st - 3rd place!
  • The first place winner of our 2025 Mutton Bustin' event will qualify for the opportunity of a lifetime.

Information & Requirements

What are the age & size regulations?

Enrollment is open to children that are between 4 and 7 years old and under 60 lbs.

Will DTBAC provide safety gear?

DTBAC will have helmets and vests available for use. Mouth guards are recommended to bring but not provided/required.

What apparel should the student wear?

We require each student to wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants and closed toed shoes for their ride.
